ABOUT US
Business United In Local Development(BUILD) is a local business networking organization based in the Shreveport - Bossier City area. Our organization consists of local business owners and leaders from many different businesses and walks of life. Each member represents a specific business classification category. Only one member is allowed to represent any particular business category in BUILD.
Unlike other business networking groups, our group is not just looking to “fill seats” or follow a corporate “model” created to best benefit the organization itself, instead, we focus on helping the individual members themselves. We currently have limited business classifications and/or seats available within our group. Exemplary members of BUILD consist of individuals who are not just thinking about how they can better themselves, they need to always be thinking about how they can help and provide for others. Our members are always paying attention and listening to others, so if anyone they know needs a referral, one can easily be passed. This allows our members to personally help their friends and family by providing a referral while at the same time helping a fellow BUILD member by passing them business. Our BUILD members developed a family-like relationship over time by getting to know each other personally and also by learning about each other’s businesses. This helps our members become great referral sources for each other.
Our group consists of individuals who are looking to not only BUILD their business, but also help BUILD the family-like camaraderie which makes our business networking group special. BUILD has been specifically designed by its members to create and nurture close personal and business relationships between all members while allowing its members to pass referrals and business to each other and become great referral sources for everyone they know.
